4 years… and honestly it’s hard to put into words what this journey really meant to me. When I look back on my college career, I don’t just think about times, medals, or wins. Yeah those moments were special, but that was never the main thing for me. It was bigger than track. Bigger than gold. Bigger than proving people wrong. For me, it was about leaving a legacy and making sure people remembered me for the right reasons. I wanted to be somebody that inspired people through my work ethic, my energy, my resilience, and the way I carried myself through every high and low.

There were a lot of moments people never saw, the injuries, the setbacks, the pressure, the doubts, the sacrifices, the days I had to keep going when mentally and physically I felt empty. But through it all, I stayed true to who I was and kept showing up. Coming from being overlooked to competing on bigger stages, and growing into the man I am today. I’m grateful for every part of the journey. I just hope when people think of my name, they don’t only remember the athlete, but the impact I made on the people around me. This chapter meant everything to me, and I’ll carry it with me forever.

Time for the next phase, as I will continue running into my pro career, a chapter has closed and now we walk into a new one.
