Georgia girls are ambitious, capable, and poised to rise. But achievement alone doesn’t tell the full story. Today, we proudly released the 2026 State of the Georgia Girl Report, offering a clearer view of both the progress girls are making and the pressures they’re navigating. Developed in partnership with Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, the report examines the experiences of girls across Georgia through five dimensions of wellness: physical, digital, emotional, academic, and social, while exploring what those findings ask of the adults, organizations, and communities around them. This morning, we continued that conversation at our report release and panel discussion. Thank you to moderator Cheryl Preheim and panelists Ameya C. Agnihotri, Ilham Askia, Reneathia P. Baker, M.D., FAAP, State Sen. Elena Parent, and Jenay Sermon, Ph.D., for bringing their perspectives to what Georgia girls need to thrive. Explore the findings, download the full report, and learn what Georgia girls need next at GeorgiaGirlScouts.org.

Okay y’all… When I tell you the resumes on these ladies… WHEW. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 But what I love most isn't just what you see on paper. It’s the work behind the titles. The leadership. The service. The community impact. The people they've helped. The doors they've opened. The lives they've touched. These are women who have been doing the work. And sometimes, the people doing the most don't stop long enough to realize just how much they've accomplished. So on September 12, we're making them stop. We're giving them their flowers. Adriane. Brandolyn. DeRetta. Jai. Kimberly. Lakeysha. I am so honored to celebrate each of you. And if you know one of these incredible women, I need you to tag her below and tell her why YOU are proud of her. Because that's what this is about. Celebrating people while they're here to receive it. Atlanta, come meet these women. Trust me… you want to know them. 📸 @kimazingphotos

Junior League + Girl Scouts = Building the Next Generation of Women Leaders. As part of my "Atlanta Is For Builders" series, I'm sharing my Service Saturday activity from this past weekend! ❤️ I had the opportunity to volunteer alongside my Junior League of DeKalb County sisters in support of the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Annual Meeting which was held at the Latin American Association headquarters And yes, we worked...but as you can probably tell from the pictures, we had a lot of fun doing it! 😂 I also enjoyed meeting J’Aimeka “Jai” Ferrell, CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, and seeing firsthand the community of women supporting an organization that has spent generations helping girls discover their confidence, leadership and potential. And having grown up in the Girl Scouts (from a Daisy to a Leader-In-Training), I was excited to see these young leaders coming through to learn more about leading. That's what I love about service. Sometimes you're helping with check-in, answering questions or doing whatever needs to be done behind the scenes. But ultimately, you're contributing to something much bigger. We aren't just supporting programs. We're helping build the next generation of leaders, entrepreneurs, creators and dreammakers. Proud to serve. ❤️ PS. The best part about volunteering with Girl Scouts is getting cookies as parting gifts!!! 🍪 🍪 🍪 #JuniorLeague #JuniorLeagueOfDeKalb #GirlScouts #WomenWhoLead #AtlantaIsForBuilders TAGGED: JAIFerrell @girlscoutsatl @jldekalb @iamaprille

In Your presence, there is fullness of joy. ⁣ Unspeakable joy. ⁣ ⁣ Today, within the 191st year of church service at the Tabernacle, Pastor Marissa Farrow preached about how to “overcome the overwhelming”. About the power in breaking the performative. ⁣ ⁣ We sang. ⁣ We cried. ⁣ We praised Him. ⁣ We released what overwhelmed us. ⁣ We held each other … breaking down any remaining barriers, walking right into the true intimacy of friendship. ⁣ ⁣ And now our sisterhood has been cemented. ⁣ ⁣ Happy Sunday from the Vineyard 🩷⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #asktheprgirl #Sundayworship #oakbluffs #blackgirlmagic #fyp
