They say she played for a love long lost, her melodies drifting through empty halls, carrying a promise that time itself could never erase. 🥀

Ritual of the sea siren.

I adore the motion of her sharp blade cutting through soft water.

Model: @jamie_bauern is truly a mesmerizing sword dancer in water 🧜‍♀️

Some evenings stay with you long after the flowers are gone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Secret Garden — an evening filled with warmth, conversation, laughter, and beautiful connections through art. Watching people gather around @jajasgarden Jiamin’s work, sharing stories and quiet moments together, reminded us again why spaces like Gallery B612 @artgalleryb612 exist.

Congratulations to Jiamin Zhu @jajasgarden on such a heartfelt and luminous exhibition. Your work transformed the gallery into a dreamlike world of memory, femininity, and imagination.

For those who couldn’t attend the reception, Secret Garden remains on view through May 16 at Gallery B612 SoDo, available by appointment. We would love for you to experience the exhibition in person.

Thanks to @arzentefineartphotographer for wonderful pictures

With gratitude,

Last week at Gallery B612 | SoDo (1915 1st Ave S)
@artgalleryb612

We hosted a beautiful reception and artist talk for Secret Garden by Jiamin Zhu. @jajasgarden

Surrounded by art, community, and heartfelt conversation, the space felt truly alive.
From the warmth of the gathering to the intimate moments shared during the talk, it was an evening we’ll remember.

A special thank you to Theresa Redmond @theresa.redmond.music for the live music, gently carrying the night and adding another layer of emotion to the experience.

And to everyone who joined us, supported, and shared the moment —
your presence made it all meaningful.

🍣 Grateful to Orenji Sushi & Noodles @orenji_issaquah for the lovely catering.

Art, people, and moments like this are what make it all worthwhile.

On view through May 16
