@irsvoices & I happened to be visiting @waltdisneyworld at the same time so @glitteronni worked some Disney Magic & we got to do a special private screening of the new “Country Bear Musical Jamboree!”

@irsvoices helped Sammy find his voice & I lent Henry mine. This is the first time we had watched the show & it was extraordinarily special that we got to do it together. There may have been tears… 🥹

Thanks to @jak_e & @johnkaz20 & the incredible @waltdisneyimagineering team for bearin’ with us & bringing the bears back in a way that feels fresh & modern but retains all of the charm & joy of the original! You really really nailed it.

Saying this is a dream come true is the biggest understatement of all time! My little Imagineering obsessed heart is full to bursting.

The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind project is a testament to unparalleled creative prowess. From its inception, Bob Weis ignited a trajectory fueled by ingenuity and collaboration, setting the stage for an extraordinary adventure.
My journey with this project began with a stroke of luck when Tom Fitzgerald and I were entrusted to co-direct this groundbreaking attraction. Tom’s visionary approach infused the project with depth, granting me a front-row seat to learn from a consummate Disney storyteller. His relentless dedication provided invaluable insights, shaping my own growth. Tom and I cultivated a dynamic collaborative synergy, leveraging our strengths. To Bob and Tom, I owe a debt of gratitude for their exemplary leadership and generosity.
Consider the remarkable assembly of creative talent: Alex Wright’s full-time creative direction, Derek Howard’s exhilarating coaster design, and Steve Spiegel’s narrative prowess. Daniel Joseph’s mastery of illusion brought the Xandarian “other world” expo to life, while Evan Miga crafted an alien aesthetic. John Dennis, Brett Swain, and Jake Ellis refined the Guardians’ soundscape, while Chris Smith and Meghan Short orchestrated ambitious media shows. Dave Bushore ensured authenticity, Kevin Feige integrated the attraction into the cinematic universe, and James Gunn captured the essence of the Guardians.
The depth of creative talent involved is staggering. Each individual mentioned could lead their own master class, yet this scratches the surface of the dedicated team. It’s been an honor to collaborate with such talents, and I eagerly anticipate future opportunities.
Special recognition to my producing partner John Mauro, whose contributions have been invaluable. What an incredible journey it has been, and I am proud to have been part of it.

The best way to get good at jiujitsu is to just keep showing up. First week of August and we love seeing our team show up and put in the work. Never underestimate what an hour each day could do for you in the next year.
