New Crowe Brothers song!
“Goodman” was recorded by us at a cabin Up Nort in Goodman, WI. Featuring the lead vocals of @tonecrowe (the birthday boy!) with @jake.a.crowe @wishbonebreakers and me backing him up! You’ll hear some other voices in there too: we sampled some answering machine cassette tapes from the archives of our Grandpa Ron and Grandma Donnabelle. We’re proud of this one! Feels good to share something from the four of us again. Link to the Bandcamp in my bio!

The Wishbone Breakers are a family band. And I don’t mean they watch their language. Luke, Jake and Ryley Crowe formed the band that would become The Wishbone Breakers in high school with their younger brother Antone. At that time they were simply called The Crowe Brothers. Antone went off to College and the three that remained became The Wishbone Breakers. How do I know all of this? Their mom told me.
When The Wishbone Breakers were solid to play Dirt Camp, I reached out to “Mama Crowe” to see if there was a secret to it all. How does one family end up so dang talented? It turns out-not to get too Hank Junior about it but-it’s a family tradition. Mama Crowe was raised with music all around, going to shows and theater performances. “It was something we could do together that cost little money and I carried that down to my boys.”
“Jake started playing piano and got into theater.” It takes about two seconds of watching him perform to figure out he has a theater background. He may as well be doing backflips. Every instrument he touches seems to just bend to his will while he manages to come off as if he’s barely paying attention to playing the thing.
As Mama Crowe tells it,”I was a single mother and Jake stepped up quite young and was a mentor for all his brothers. That was our outlet. In a small house out in the country these brothers spent their time closely jamming together or many friends that came out to hear their garage rehearsal space, ‘The Cheese Factory’ come alive . Using their creativity in every way possible.” (Bio Continued in comments)

Huge thank you to Kurt Shipe, Jeff White, and Jake Crowe for adding the special brass sauce to a track on the upcoming album! It’s super cool to finally hear the song with my ears the way I’ve always heard it in my head. And of course, thanks to Honeytone Studio for making the dream a reality!
