Thank you to all the donors for supporting the @slcfire firefighters! It’s because of you that Leaps of Hope is able to take ten firefighters on their first skydives so they can experience a level of presence and joy that they may not have ever experienced!

Thank you again!

Cheaper than therapy, and significantly more fun. Don’t let an “uh-oh” turn your weekend escape into a burden. 💸

Let #AltiSafe handle the unexpected so you can keep your head in the clouds. ☁️

This past Saturday, @jake.carlton and I put on a seminar @skydivecity discussing what is actually happening when we angle fly. For a while now we have been able to capture GPS data with the help of @deepandsteep Insight altimeter. This data shows us what’s really happening in the sky and we can use it to become safer and more aware skydivers. Here is the first thing we discussed in the seminar; GLIDE. Comment down below if you want me to send you a link to the full video.

Even though we fought clouds and weather throughout the Labor Day weekend, we were able to have some fun moments in between the showers. Thanks for all the fun jumps this weekend. I’m looking forward to even more as the winter season kicks off. On a side note the new mission one pro can snag some incredible stills of your friends.

We’re proud to welcome Jake Carlton, James Meirowsky, and Zach “Badger” Overbey as the newest Strategic Advisors to Leaps of Hope.

Jake Carlton is a U.S. Army veteran, three-time Freestyle Skydiving World Champion, founder of Ascend Flight Concepts, and psychology graduate who brings a powerful understanding of both performance and the human side of skydiving.

James Meirowsky is a technology executive, entrepreneur, AFF Instructor, Tandem Instructor, and FAA Senior Rigger with extensive experience building teams, developing leaders, and guiding organizations through growth.

Zach “Badger” Overbey is a Delta Air Lines pilot, C-130J instructor pilot, and U.S. Air Force Reserve officer whose career has included humanitarian missions around the world, including three years leading Operation CHRISTMAS DROP.

As Leaps of Hope continues to grow, their experience will help us scale thoughtfully while staying true to the people and mission at the center of everything we do.

Welcome to the team. 🪂

Identity. Purpose. Community.

WINTERFEST LO: @jake.carlton

Skydive City Zhills, Dec 30-Jan 3
Register now, link in bio!

Most of you may know him as “Head Up Jake” or “Jake the Tank”, but really, he’s just Jake. With over 8,000 jumps, being a world champion (twice), national champion (six times), founding Ascend, and being a key member of Momentum, he sure could have done more in his short time skydiving since 2019. But despite all this, we welcome Jake to Winterfest with open arms! Whether you want to work on head up angles, dynamic wingsuiting, freefly, belly, flocking, or XRW, Just Jake is the LO for you.
