POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This video taught me so much. It internally challenged a lot of the questions that come with trying to combine visual artistry to songs I have poured so much into musically. I know it will continue reshaping itself throughout my life and that’s exciting. I hope it makes you feel something! Thank you to @jake.dahm for filming this and being the most patient and supportive person in the process.

Not a pitch. Just an edit.
I came across @openresidency and decided to put my podcast editing skills into the work.
I love taking conversations and finding the moments that deserve to be felt, not just heard.
Here’s my take. 🎙️✂️

Flashback to 12 years ago, ~19 year old Joey. Back when clean E46 M3’s were not too expensive. I got this 05 silver grey coupe with 70k miles for $15k back in 2014ish. I loved this car, and never planned on selling it.

On my second track day with the car at Thunderhill, I ended up on dry grass and the grass caught fire. The fire burned the engine bay and underside plastics but left the exterior and interior unscathed.

I bought the car back from insurance, but sold it to my ex-girlfriend’s father. He fixed the entire thing and got it running again.

I bought 3 e36 M3’s and a 135i inbetween, but they never filled the S54 void. The only color I wanted to replace this car was Interlagos, so the search began.

I found an exhaust for sale across the country with a blue m3 behind the muffler in the ad. I messaged the seller if he’d consider selling the car and next thing I know, the search for an Interlagos coupe was over. (Thanks @kiser.m3 )

I made this little promo video in Azusa canyon in college years ago, and never posted it. My favorite car in the world.

July was straight up the worst month of my life, but there were also some really really good parts :)

@lumberjach got me a digital camera for my birthday this year, and it’s really now one of my most precious belongings. So lucky to have so many lovely memories, and so excited I now have a way to not forget them ⭐️ Here’s just some snippets of the last 4 months of moments I love reliving!

I can’t believe it’s been two years since we made The Agonist! It was one of the most joyful experiences I’ve ever had as an artist. Thanks to @kennethpattengale at the helm with an all-star cast of players, I still pinch myself when I hear the finished product.

My cheeks hurt from smiling when I revisit these moments from the studio - in part because I recall the feeling listening back to each take, and also in part because I realize just how lucky I am to still be doing what I love. Music is a gift I don’t take for granted.

“While My Guitar Gently Weeps” (feat. Gabe Witcher) - FULL VIDEO out now on YouTube!

I was at @bellchoirstudios working on some live recordings when none other than @gwitcher strolled by the door. Naturally, I couldn’t help myself from asking him to join and play one of my favorite George Harrison tunes with me. I’m glad I had the guts to ask, because playing this together felt like such a treat for me. I hope it’s tasty for you all too!

Thanks Gabe 🙏🏼🎻
