Awesome morning of training as we hosted a fantastic no gi/wrestling seminar from @bigsmittybjj as we shared the mats with number of Marines from Quantico. We are proud to be able to continue to advance our training relationships with the Marine Corps.

Wishing a huge congratulations to Tim on his retirement! This program wouldn’t be where it is or maybe even exist if not for his efforts and dedication to improving the skills and lives of first responders. We wish him the best on his move and next chapter and we know our mats will not be the same without him. Congrats Tim!

Huge congratulations to Tim on his black belt promotion at @koateambjj ! Tim frequently runs our morning training sessions and has been a major reason for the grappling group being where it is today by pushing the need and the level of training provided to officers here. He’s a great example and an excellent instructor. Congrats!

Awesome morning of gi training today. Today Bill, our helicopter mechanic, received his blue belt. Bill began training with us some time ago and shows up to more training sessions than any other person we have here. He is one of the toughest dudes we know and is always in here grinding and getting after it even with our youngest officers. We couldn’t be more proud of him and how much he’s progressed so far. Congratulations Bill!
