The members of Whittier Christian Softball's championship team continue to pick up honors! Following an unforgettable season that culminated in a CIF-SS Championship, WCHS junior Mia Camacho has been named CIF Player of the Year! The honor comes after one of the most dominant seasons in Herald softball history. Camacho finished the year batting .532 with 50 hits, 47 runs scored, 60 RBIs and 17 home runs in 94 at-bats. She also added 10 doubles and consistently delivered in some of the biggest moments of the season.  Mia was at her best in the biggest moments, including that game-tying home run in the CIF Final! She was a steady presence in the middle of the lineup, a leader on and off the field and one of the driving forces behind a team that won a league championship and captured the CIF-SS Championship.  Congratulations to the Camacho family for the sacrifices, encouragement and support that helped Mia develop into both an outstanding player and an outstanding young woman. Congratulations as well to Mia's teammates and coaches! Herald Football has always been about more than the game. It’s about faith, family and the kind of bonds that last long after the final whistle. This year we’re inviting all former players, coaches, families and fans to a special All Years Football Reunion at our October 3rd Homecoming game vs. Arrowhead Christian (kickoff at 7:00 pm). We’ll be honoring two of the greatest squads in Herald history, the 1983 and 1984 CIF Championship teams. These teams showed what it really means to wear the Herald uniform and we can’t wait to celebrate their legacy together. We’d love to see everyone who made those seasons unforgettable, including the cheerleaders, parents and families who stood behind our athletes every step of the way. You helped make those championship moments possible and your story is part of our story. Plan to meet at Whittier College and check in at the ticket gate for field access and game tickets. From there we’ll head in together to reconnect with teammates, honor the past and celebrate the future of Herald Football. Let’s pack the stands and show that Herald spirit is still alive and strong. Go Heralds! We would love to know if you are planning to join us. Please use the QR code (swipe right) to RVSP. We'll see you there!  #goheralds #wchs #wcheralds #wchsheralds #cifchamps

Over 5,000 custom-made pieces of Jetset Models GSE were meticulously placed to bring this layout to life — a 1:400 scale replica of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) designed with a level of realism rarely seen at this scale. This installation showcases every terminal at LAX, including the world-renowned Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). From ground service equipment and jet bridges to service roads and terminal interiors, every detail was carefully considered to capture the true spirit and complexity of a working international airport. At the center of this project is Brian Keene of AvPro Designs, whose extraordinary craftsmanship and dedication made this build possible. He devoted thousands of hours to planning, assembling, and perfecting every section, ensuring the display reflects the operational rhythm of LAX with impressive accuracy. CONTACT Brian Keene Avprodesigns.net What sets this layout apart is the abundance of subtle details—airside vehicles positioned mid-task, terminal architecture modeled to scale, and dynamic airport lighting effects that add an immersive atmosphere. It’s a scene that rewards close inspection, with new discoveries from every angle. Special thanks to our partners: No Point Airport, Tarmac Designs, and Clipper Models, whose collaboration and support were instrumental in realizing this vision. Jetset Models supplied an estimated 5,000 components for this project—each piece contributing to a display that celebrates aviation on a world-class scale. ⸻ Professional, high-engagement hashtags (29): #JetsetModels400 #airbus #LAXReplica #AviationDiorama #1to400Scale #ModelAirportDesign #TomBradleyTerminal #MiniatureEngineering #AvGeekLife #DiecastDisplay #AirportArchitecture #AviationShowcase #ModelBuildingCommunity #AircraftCollectors #boeing #AvlroDesigns #PrecisionModeling #MiniatureWorld #AirportsOfInstagram #TerminalDetail #GSEModels #boeing747 #ReplicaAviation #TarmacDesigns #NoPointAirport #1400scale #AviationCollectors #ModelTerminal #Aviation

For the class of 25 love all you guys man. I’ll never forget us walking in freshmen year not knowing how to play Football but throughout these past years. We’ve had amazing coaches to give us guidance and leadership and show us how football should be played. We are all growing to be Young Men of God and I’ll always love you guys. Wish I had one more game with you Guys, see you all as brothers. I will always miss strapping up the helmet, putting on those pads and going to war with y’all.
