Feeling super proud of Nate tonight!

Watching him blossom in his role as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager of Asador at the Renaissance Hotel in Dallas is really something special. He’s growing into his position with so much confidence and joy, and it’s been wonderful to see the success he’s having.

And seeing him and Mary enjoying their first year of marriage and building their life together, side by side, makes it all even sweeter.

Just a proud dad, grateful to watch these two thrive!

🎶 A pretty special night for Old Glory Pies… and an even more special one for these two proud parents. 🥧❤️

Tonight, we had the incredible opportunity to serve the cast and crew of the Broadway National Tour of The Sound of Music — and spend a little time meeting the talented group of people our son Jake gets to call his castmates and friends for the next year.

There are a lot of days we’re proud to roll up in Libby and serve our pies, but this one definitely hit a little different.

Tomorrow night, we finally get to see our Jake take the stage for the first time on this tour, and we absolutely cannot wait. ❤️

To the entire Sound of Music cast and crew — thank you for letting Old Glory Pies be a small part of your journey. We loved meeting you, feeding you, and welcoming you into the OGP family.

And Jake… we’ll be the two ridiculously proud parents in the audience tomorrow night. 🇺🇸🥧🎭

Break a leg, kid. We love you.

The most delicious pies ever! Thank you @ogpies for such a special surprise 🥧

We’re all so excited for tomorrow’s Opening Night and this was such a fun way to celebrate today’s put in rehearsal 🎉

If you’re in Dallas, TX - make sure you get one of their pies - so so so good!

🏆 WELL, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY! 🥧🍎

We are incredibly proud to share that Old Glory Pies took home the Mayor’s Choice Award at the Bedford Beats & Eats Fest!

For the competition, we brought out our Old Bedford Schoolhouse Caramel Apple Pie — because after all those years in education, we know one thing for sure…
Teachers deserve better than just a plain old apple. 😂🍎

A huge thank you to Mayor Dan Cogan and the entire City of Bedford team. You guys put on an outstanding event, and we were thrilled to be a part of it.

This award means a lot to us, and you can bet it’ll be displayed with great pride here at Old Glory Pies.

Not bad for a couple of retired educators who decided baking pies seemed like a good idea. 🇺🇸🥧

God. Country. Pies. And apparently… Mayor-approved pies. 🏆

Coming to a theater near YOU!

I’m so excited we can finally, officially share that Jake will be joining the cast of the National Tour of The Sound of Music!

He’ll make his debut on September 18th—and, of all places, in Dallas!

This kid has been putting in the work. He just completed 46 weeks in a row, performing in five different shows at three different theaters in Chicago. He was looking forward to a little break, and then this happened!

We are so incredibly proud of him. He has more than earned this opportunity through his talent, dedication, and the incredible amount of work he’s put in. We’re so excited to see him take this huge next step in his career!
