"Handle With Care"

Consideration is key in this thing here called life.

Pay it forward and pay it backwards
every chance you get.

Be a mentee and a mentor everyday possible.

Art is the language of the U n i Verse.

It is the connection
from the heavens
to the ethers.

It is the connection
from the teachers
through the speakers.

It is the connection
to the students,
by the students.

It is the thing that truly does
keep us all connected,
never separate.

The glue of humanity,
no matter what society says.

No matter what it is,
what is popularly preached,
or
what that may look like
from any form of control.

It is the beauty of the moment,
when not neglected.
It is that it is.

I am blessed by
the bounty of the
hearts
that are touched
simply by the things
I make with my hands.

God's plan and it all designs the road map too.
All I pray is for is to be buckled up,
and to always stay TRUE.

Blessings.
From me,
to you.

New York is a rock I keep turning over, again and again, just to see what’s underneath. Each time, I expect something familiar; maybe a patch of bright green moss…but instead, I find entire ecosystems teeming with life. Every flip of the rock feels like peering through a microscope that zooms deeper and deeper, revealing layers I didn’t even know existed. And somehow, as I explore these smaller, more intricate worlds, my own world keeps expanding.

Over the years, the small circle of friends I’ve built in New York has grown into this beautifully unexpected web of connections. Just when I think I’ve met someone new, I find out they already know someone I hold close. These surprise overlaps make the city feel electric..like it might burst from the magic of it all.

I came here to spend a month, curious if New York could be a place I’d want to live. I already knew I loved visiting, but what I experienced in just a few weeks felt like a lifetime. And the wildest part? I thought I was pacing myself.

Where do I even begin…

Third Friday of May 2024.
It was an amazing BEKA Museum day.

My new painting in the magazine and on the wall.

Two photographs and two ladders from the Ladders for Ukraine project.

How many stories these walls won’t tell? :)
