POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Went to bed super late after @hyroxusa last night so posting this today!

Nutrition: @mrshabu_orem is literally heaven on earth, one of my favorite cheat meals that still packs tons of protein. Slammed some @honeystinger and @guenergylabs and then had pho for our post-workout recovery meal.

Workout: Hyrox! we did the men’s open relay and it was honestly so much fun i’d totally do it again, I think doubles would be fun to try for round 2!

Posting again tn for today’s journal!

Great day at jiujitsu today. Relaxed live rounds from mount during gi class today.
Lots of live wrestling and leglocking practice during no gi. Special guest and friend @jake_mafi stopped by for his first ever jiujitsu practice. He killed it and was courageous in the face of pretty daunting and difficult live work.
66 practice is going well. I’m scoring well more consistently and I’m enjoying the process. Spirits are high and I’m optimistic about my ability to deliver a strong result.

Played some volleyball today. The weather was overcast and mild for July. Lots of good vibes with the President of Volleyball @jake_mafi .
Upping my volume for series 66 practice. Feeling more consistent. Test is scheduled. Almost ready to go.

Colorado 2025!
I found this buck late in the morning and ended up bedding him down. I made my stalk and got within 600 yards, but a doe bumped him out. I laid in the sagebrush for 8 hours hoping he’d come back out, and right before dark he showed up in a different spot. I ended up hitting him pretty far back, and there was little to no blood.

I went back the next day, found a small amount of blood, and tracked him for over 2 miles and 2 full days, zig-zagging the entire area. I finally found him hidden behind a sagebrush, and I couldn’t be happier that it all worked out.

I’m glad I stayed patient and persistent—otherwise I never would’ve killed a deer of this caliber. Huge shoutout to @alpyntripod for making the best tripod out there. I wouldn’t have found him bedded without the most versatile setup on the market!

A collection of some “imperfect photos” that I really love. Photos from me living my life. Telling my story and the stories of those around me.

This week especially, I am grateful.

For the work that lights a fire in my soul. For the people I work with, who challenge and inspire me every day. For my friends who push me to grow and be better. For my family, the constant support behind every dream I’ve chased.

And most importantly, for my Father in Heaven. I don’t always have it figured out, and my faith is far from perfect. But when I see His hand in the beauty around me, I’m reminded of who I am—a son of God.

Here’s to gratitude and to never losing sight of the bigger picture.

Tell your story, you never know the inspiration you may be.

Happy Thanksgiving my friends 🫶🏼

2024 general muzzy buck! I Worked harder than I ever have on this hunt. Opening day didn’t go as planned when I had my number 1 buck at 120 yards and my gun didn’t go off. Stuck with it chased some really big deer but sealed the deal on a buck I scouted this summer! My best shot I have ever made at 400 yards! Shout out to @g7precisionfirearms. Huge shout out to @jmafi07 for grinding with me all year couldn’t have done it without ya! Never would have killed this deer without @alpyntripod been using this tripod for years it’s the best around. @sitkagear @marsupialgear @huntbackcountry @crispihunting @peakrefuel @alpyntripod @darntoughvermont @swarovskioptik_outdoor
