What a summer with our girl. ❤️

In April, Liv tore her ACL and came home to recover 🩼🩼 😒🏐. Missing part of her last term at Exeter wasn’t ideal, but she made the best of it (and we lucked out on more time with her!)

In May, she had surgery — followed by months of PT, recovery, hard work, and learning a whole new level of patience. Somewhere in the middle of all that, she graduated, packed her bags, and managed to have an incredible summer anyway.

We made some pretty amazing memories traveling through Greece, Turkey, Malta & Barcelona 🇬🇷🇹🇷🇲🇹🇪🇸, soaked up tons of time with family and friends, and watched her get stronger every single week. Oh, she also hit up Scotland and Copenhagen at the Fringe Festival! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇩🇰 Take THAT, ACL.

And now… she’s jogging again 🙌 and we just dropped her off at Vanderbilt. 💛🖤 New friends already made, a great first night in the books, and after everything this girl has pushed through over the last four months, she is SO ready for what’s next.

ACL: 0. Liv: 1.

She’s back. She’s strong. And she’s ready to rock Vandy. ⚓️ ⬇️

Happy graduation! Happy healing! Happy first year of college! WE LOVE YOU.

The Sape is 16! Happy birthday to the funniest, most sincere, authentic, inquisitive, and did we say funniest kid we know. You make us laugh every single day. We miss you more than you could possibly know, but we also are so proud of the man you are becoming while away at school. You have surrounded yourself with an amazing group of friends while also staying close to your AZ roots. You’ve blown us away with your ability to balance sports, classes, and a social life all while staying true to yourself. We love you and hope you had a great 16th!! ❤️
