Long post, so feel free to read or just like this post and get a move on with your day🤷🏼‍♂️ Anyway, I decided this winter I would take part in my birthright to Israel towards the end of May. I was placed in a group of 36 unique individuals, including myself. No one person being the same. We reached all parts of the spectrum with personalities and it was truly a blessing to have experienced Israel with all these wonderful people who decided to take birthright, too!!! During the trip, we added 8 Israelis to our group, along with the security guard and tour guide of our group who were both Israeli. On top of that, I had 2 one of a kind counselors from Cleveland who came along for the ride, as well. I was lucky enough to understand early on that the point of the 10 day trip isn’t to sight see, because you truly can’t see all of Israel in 10 days. Instead, it’s diving into the culture that you knew very little about that was a part of you. I got to make friendships with some wonderful people that will last a lifetime. From the people in my group, to the Israelis I met while I was wondering around Israel. I am truly blessed to be where I am today and surrounded by such open-minded and modest people. I truly will never forget my experience in Israel and the people I got to spend it with. Life is going in the direction I need it to, and I couldn’t be happier to have taken some knowledge away from everyone on this trip. This is my jewish community and I’m blessed to be a part of it 🇮🇱❤️🤘🏾La Chaim all you Benzonas🍻
