As part of their 50th Anniversary or Cinquanta, C.P. Company opened their doors, and archives to recognise the history and legacy of the global sportswear brand. Set in the heart of Darwen, the exhibition features exclusive and iconic pieces, shining a light on the brand’s ties with North England, particularly to football subculture. As well as the exhibition, C.P. Company also hosted a number of panel talks with speakers from the brand, as well as respected names in sportswear and menswear.  ‘C.P. Company, how to break into menswear’ a panel hosted by Professor Andrew Groves gave insight to the many avenues and opportunities to break into the industry with Neil Summers, Danny Fahey, and D2D client Chris Vandrill. From building friendships, knowing your clients, ignoring advice and making the brews; the conversation and exhibition continually acknowledged the overlap between cultures, genres, and industries, and how this has contributed not only to the success of C.P. Company, but to the progression and innovation in menswear.  Here’s a few photos from the D2D trip to the exhibition…
