There’s a whole rage bait going on about stand up comedians and their jokes being abused by AI. I so far remain unaffected.

In other news, this is me, performing at NYC’s most prestigious comedy club. Thanks for the opportunity 🙏

Accelerating in Comedy

Think you can live your life without an audience? Then you probably should. But if you can't, it’s time to get serious about being funny. This workshop is a reality check for anyone looking to bridge the gap between "guy with a notepad" and "comedian with a craft". We’re stripping away the fluff to focus on the mechanics that actually move the needle.

We will cover:The Daily Grind: Why you need to write every single day and how to find material in an elevator. Stage Persona: Learning to be the funniest person in the world for exactly the duration of your set. Joke Mechanics: Mastering setups, the "beat," and why your tags might be killing your punchline. The Ethics of the Bomb: A deep dive into "Punching Up" vs. "Punching Down" using real-world examples.

Jakob is a comedian who knows that stand-up is a resilient person's game where the chances of success are incredibly low. Rather than selling dreams, he provides objective measuring tools and honest feedback to help writers develop a stage persona that actually vibes with an audience.
