POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I didn’t get enough pictures.

Here are a few I did get. Thanks to everyone that came out and showed love.

Seeing y’all holding a soda with my words on it is something I’m still trying to take in. To have people believe in an idea, help bring it to life, and then show up to celebrate it with you means a lot.

Thank you 🙏

✅ Have a @devilsfootbrew at a PGA Tournament

Want to brag on my boy a bit. Not only is he a sponsor of a PGA Golf Tournament, his drinks were the best thing at the tournament by far. Transfusions were a hit! Saw some of our golf favorites doing their thing. Scored some nice seats. Had the best of time with the best views. Proud of you Jacob! Keep them hydrated at the @biltmorechampionship 😎⛰️🏌️‍♂️

Lost gems found again. Asheville old heads will remember MoDaddy's. I played quite a few gigs there, and this was one for the books. Leigh Glass & The Hazards had a show circa 2010 on a cold winter nite, but our regular drummer was sick. At the last minute, literally hours before downbeat, I called & asked Jacob Baumann if he was available and wanted to jump in cold with Leigh, Corey, and I. He had trusted me to jump in with one of his bands a few times and I wanted to repay the favor. What none of us realized was how fun this core trio combo was going to be and the long-term partnerships it spawned musically and otherwise. The epitome of old school AVL community and camaraderie. ✌️

Poem 22/52— My first album, “The Swan” was released in 2016. I wrote all those songs while living on the river that is its namesake. What a wild and quaint time, now that I look back on it.

We’re gonna be performing the record front to back on October 16th here in Asheville @ayurpranalisteningroom . So grateful to the great musicians who are gonna help me tell the stories.

First of all, @soft.chevre will be opening the show to put us all in our feels, and then lend her incredible voice to sing harmonies.

@therealquinnsternberg on that double bass
@iamjacobiplaymusic on 🎹 & 🪊
@laney.barnett on 🎻
@jakeondakit on 🥁
Shane O’Brien on 🎸

You can find more details and buy tickets at the Ayurprana Listening Room website.

Find me another city where you can park in a parking deck, get a martini in the hotel restaurant, walk across the street and go to a 7PM showing of the Anthony Bourdain biopic in a theater that opened in 1946, walk out of there and go two doors down to see the homies playing at @barleystaproom for Thursday funk jam. And to imagine some people out there are too scared or too ignorant to go downtown. Turn off the news. Be a human being and experience your environment. Explore your community. Live your life. It's gonna be ok. Asheville forever ❤️
