First two shoulder mounts completed. Huge thank you to @jakepetro14 and @petros_whitetail_taxidermy for being a great mentor and guiding me throughout the whole process. Also want to thank @blair___wagner for believing in me and trusting me with his deer. Truly a special journey that couldn’t have been completed without these two.

Every hair, every feature, every detail.

A mount on the wall is more than a trophy, it’s a chance to replay the hunt and relive the memories for years to come.

Archery hunting has been one of the greatest teachers in my life. The early mornings, the failures, the long sits, the close calls — all of it has made me a stronger outdoorsman and a better man overall 🏹💭

I want to give a special shoutout to @jakepetro14 from @hunt_mra . Jake didn’t just show me how to hunt — he showed me how to think like a hunter. Public land strategy, mountain buck patterns, discipline… he’s been there every step of the way. If you ever get the chance to book a hunt or learn from him, do it. You’ll walk away better than you came in.

And of course, my brother @hayman88.ch — thanks for always being the one I bounce ideas off of, even the wild ones. Appreciate you more than you know.

Here’s to the 2026 season — good luck to everyone out there chasing their goals. Stay safe, stay sharp, and enjoy every moment in the woods 🌲🦌

Wilderness, winding creeks, native brook trout, and a pair of hip boots! This is enjoying Gods creation in one of its purest forms!

The birds were the excuse. The lessons were the reward. Thank you Jesus for another season.

Chasing these birds has taught me a lot. More than patience or how to be a resilient hunter. I remember when it was almost impossible to even call a bird in, and I straight up didn’t know what I was doing. The one thing I did know was that I was supposed to be there against that tree.

Some of the clearest moments I’ve ever had with God have come while listening to the woods wake up. The more time I spend in creation, the more I’m reminded that none of this is an accident. Every long drive, and every time a turkey has humbled me has carried a lesson, and I am all here for it.

Thank you to my wife to holding it down as always, and Thank you Jesus. 🪶
