A friendly response to @jakeshaddox recent video.

The tension between the faith of a worshipper and the divine order by which God has ordained for us to worship Him has been grappled with for centuries (if not millennia!).

In humility, some believers can resist the temptation of consumerist Christianity in favour of pure intimacy with God; seeking His face and not His hand, the person and not the blessings.

However, what if God intervenes for the very purpose of revealing Himself?
What if recognising His faithfulness to us is what draws us closer to Him?
