I always have the most magical time whenever I’m here ❤️

This SoHo secret is one of NYC’s best kept. I’m always searching for the weird, random, and beautiful corners of the city, so send me your secret spots. What should I check out next?

Socialite and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff extended her celebrated generosity once again, this time hosting an elegant reception in support of the Southampton History Museum, one of the Hamptons’ most cherished cultural institutions.

Established in 1898, the museum has spent more than 125 years preserving and promoting the shared history and culture of Southampton, NY, operating four separate heritage sites featuring 14 historic structures, anchored by the landmark Rogers Mansion on Meeting House Lane. In its early days, the museum collected and exhibited historical objects and documents, organized pageants, and gave lectures on antiques, a legacy of community engagement that continues to inspire supporters like Mrs. Shafiroff today.

I’m on a mission to empower 1 million indie builders, who I call the Kings & Queens of AI, especially those building in public.

What is building in Public? It’s when you open jelly and post about what you’re building (not the edited, polished stuff you put on Instagram or tik tok).

Why build in Public? Because simply put, that is your competitive edge. Software is no longer proprietary. Those days are gone. Ideas are cheap. The ones talking about it, in the open, and using the public to hold them accountable and actually “ship” will be the winners here in this giant market opportunity for indie software.

It started today when I hosted the first Indie Builders breakfast with a small group of extremely talented builders.

What blew my mind?? The fact that I was the ONLY qualified engineer in the room. These are all people deploying apps and building in ways that were never done before. This is the future and we at jelly are embracing and empowering it.

If you want to join the next one leave a comment about what you’re building, let’s connect on jelly and let’s start building.

Indie builders are creating a new category of app tinkers and I’m betting big on this community to shape the future of software, community and beyond. Especially the ones that really build public.

I hope this inspire you to join.m the next one.

And Remeber, anyone can build.
