ZO…NE!! Man soUL camp was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had here at UL. It was nice to finally use all the tools we learned through the trainings. This was definitely one of the highlights of my summer!!🙌

Another great year of welcoming our newest and incoming Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns to campus for SOUL Camp! ❤️🤟🏽

From volunteering for dinners with the Alumni Association, to leadership presentations and meaningful Days of Service, it was an outstanding month of giving back, building connections, and engaging with our new students and mentors.

It’s always rewarding to be part of their first steps into this new chapter. Looking forward to watching each of them grow, develop, and achieve great things throughout their journey!

This year was not easy.
There were challenges, pushback, and long nights. But through it all, we never stopped showing up, pushing, and listening.
Because this was never about us.
This was always about YOU.

The 2025–2026 SGA delegation turned student voices into real, lasting impact:

• Referendum passed (74%+)
• Mental Health Attendance Policy implemented
• Expanded counseling access, no-waitlist progress & finals support
• Reflective Collective + virtual access launched
• Campus-wide mental health assessment & peer support expansion
• Library hours extended
• Easier maintenance reporting through ULink
• Narcan expanded to 75%+ of campus
• Increased access to OTC meds & feminine products
• Preferred name access expanded
• Student wages increased ($8.50 + yearly raises)
• More transparent Homecoming process & traditions enhanced
• Student representation secured across key university committees
• Campus safety initiatives strengthened with ULPD
• Syllabus bank continued, advisor portal & financial support expanded
• Parking, facilities, and campus improvements implemented
• Advocacy across ALL colleges
And SO much more!
Because leadership isn’t just what you accomplish.
It’s making the place better than you found it.
This was more than a term.
This was a transformation.
To every student, partner, administrator, and leader… thank you.
To this delegation… thank you for never backing down.
The baton has been passed.
The foundation has been built.
And the work continues.
Your voice mattered. Your voice matters. Always. ❤️🖤
