Life has a way of writing stories more beautifully than we ever could ourselves. It brings people into our lives exactly when we need them—sometimes as lessons, sometimes as blessings, and sometimes as the family we choose. You have all been that and more.

What makes this season of life even sweeter is that, for the first time, I feel sure of who I am. I feel grounded in the person I’m becoming and confident in the life I’m building. Maybe they were right about your 30s after all. There’s something beautiful about arriving here—not having all the answers, but finally trusting yourself enough to stop searching for them everywhere else.

I carry so much gratitude for each of you. Your love, your presence, and your friendship have shaped me in ways words could never fully capture. Through every conversation, every laugh, every moment shared, you’ve helped me grow into someone I’m proud to be.

This is the whole point, isn’t it? Not the milestones or the perfect plans, but the people. The table full of stories, the memories being made in real time, and the feeling of being deeply known and deeply loved.

My heart is full.

31 feels less like getting older and more like coming home to myself.

This felt bigger than a run. It felt historic.

It felt like what happens when Black women move together.

250+ Black women showed up in Bed-Stuy on Juneteenth for a 5K and it reminded us what community truly looks like. 🖤

There was something incredibly powerful about watching women choose movement, choose themselves, and do it together.

To create this alongside @nikenyc and @fentyhair is something we’ll never forget. A collaboration rooted in community, celebration, access, and showing women that movement belongs to all of us.

So many of you told us this was your first 5K. Your first run. Your first time ever believing you could do something like this.

And that’s the part we’ll carry with us.

We know y’all love Sip N Slay but this is just the beginning of more community-led moments from ESG.
