Dear 2025,

I know everyone is sharing their yearly recaps, but the thing that stayed with me most this year was quieter. I turned 20 this year, and for the first time in a long time, my birthday felt different. After years of dreading my birthday and saying “i hate my birthday”, this year I didn’t feel empty. I felt full afterwards. I didn’t cry out of sadness. I felt seen.
That moment lingered longer than I expected. It made me realize I had the right people in my life. People who showed up in ways that mattered. And that changed how I understand love.
2025 taught me that love is more than romance. It’s presence, care, and feeling held in moments you didn’t even know you needed. It’s realizing that love has been all around me, and finally allowing myself to notice it. To be loved, is to be seen. And I so kindly appreciate my friends and family for making this year so special to me. 🤍
