#IDFeatures Meet Mumbai's Emerging Product Designers Making Waves Through Form and Material

As we gear up for ID Mumbai 2024, we're excited to do what we always love: spotlight emerging designers who are creating innovative pieces through form and material. In this piece, @diasshirline speaks to five fascinating product designers, each one of whom moulds a unique material into elegant works of design. From mother of pearl to metal mesh, from discarded wood to colourful ceramics, every single product represents the ingenious skills of these creative minds.

@dr.baa live on 21st at Circle for an amazing evening hosted by @who_said_food_ @the_pursuit_justujuu where she's going to be making some awesome congee (Veg) and a lot of trimmings with the special ones being provided by @masalamasterco to go with it all using local produce. You can pay as you like for the meal and all proceeds collected go directly to @angelsforanimals.in to support the amazing work they have been doing. @dr.baa has an amazing voice and is an even more amazing person. So make sure you're there by 7:30 and it'll be an evening to remember.

Gigs are unpredictable. You don't know if people will come and you don't know if things will go wrong. But the people that have helped us with the gigs are "the show has to go on" kind.

From our first ever performance at Circle with @dr.baa on her ukulele at the Old Souls Garden under a lamp really got us excited of how amazing this feeling was and that it must be shared.

@supersgram and @kpgupta being the super stars they are did a dinner here with family and friends - it was our first big dinner and with some amazing music to back - it became one of our most memorable evenings.

Thanks to @royayudh and @chinxminx who hosted @nariyal.paani at Circle. It was our first event partnership at Circle and it was a blast. @iamalboe and @lobocopbombay really held fort with some amazing music and really supportive crowd.

@karanmehrotra obviously has made himself defacto head of events and introduced us to a whole world of people eager to do gigs and attend them. Combine that with @nick_dc3000 energy and experience and we had #circleradio emerge. The rains almost killed the first event organised directly by Circle and we weren't sure if we should even put the speakers out side and take responsibility for it.

But the rain gods showed mercy and @dualistinquiry made sure the rain was forgotten and the focus was the music. Back that with @arthurjeffes first performance in India where he literally took you out of the universe - this was a gig for the ages and set the tone for more to come.

@vjsukhee helped out with some amazing visuals and there were plenty of cameras up in the air making memories of these moments. We've come a short way and there is a long way to go - but we're hoping to have gigs here that are about the music and the overall experience. At Circle, we want you to feel like you're in your own music video and it's all about you.

This Saturday, Circle Radio X Sounds of Society invites you to join us for a mesmerizing sunset featuring two remarkable artists, the only grand piano in Goa, a team of talented visual artists synchronizing the soundscapes, to create an immersive, sensory experience set in a magical garden with century old trees. And we will be thrilled to have you join us for the evening.

Dualist Inquiry - A ground-breaking music producer, live performer/DJ and pioneer of the new wave of Indian electronica, will set the stage for twilight hour with his experimental soundscapes that will resonate with your innermost emotions.

Arthur Jeffes - the visionary behind the iconic Penguin Cafe, will take you on a sonic journey post sundown that blurs the lines between classical and contemporary using sounds of gravitational waves from the *LIGO experiment* that was given to him by an astrophysicist friend who worked there. So there is a chance at twilight you hear the first sounds of the universe.
