Gandawa na weekend? Rubens i Bosch kontra radykalna sztuka współczesna, a Rubens w dodatku - bez biletu!

I coś z innej beczki! A dokładnie - musztarda, którą sklep Tierenteyn-Verlent robi od XVIII wieku i sprzedaje właśnie prosto z beczki. A propos jedzenia... Potem - spacer i panorama miasta z wieży XII-wiecznego zamku Gravensteen.

W katedrze św. Bawona: bezpłatnie Rubens i „Opus” Wima Delvoye’a. Ołtarz Gandawski van Eycków i zwiedzanie w AR wymagają biletu. W MSK czeka 600 lat sztuki i konserwacja części Ołtarza Gandawskiego.

M.in. nad łóżkiem w każdym pokoju wiszą prace Pierre’a Coddensa.

Zapisz i wyślij komuś na wspólny city break!

🇬🇧
Ghent city break? Rubens for free, Bosch, radical contemporary art and a distillery in a chapel.

Invited by Design Museum Gent, I explored Dada Chapel, Gouvernementshuis, Gravensteen and the canals.

Food: Tierenteyn-Verlent mustard, Plant a Pizza (two Vegan Awards), Brasserie Bridge (award-winning Ghent stew).

St Bavo’s: free Rubens and Delvoye’s “Opus”; the Altarpiece and AR are ticketed. Nearby: MSK and S.M.A.K.

JAM: Lionel Jadot’s interiors, Zaventem Ateliers and Pierre Coddens.

Save and share!

Como se protege das redes sociais? “Vivo no campo e tenho galinhas.

10 days in Portugal 🇵🇹❤️

A place I’ve heard so much about over the years, and finally getting to experience it for myself was so special.

Beautiful places, wonderful people, incredible food and a few unexpected adventures. Lots to see, learn and appreciate.

Came home with plenty of stories, a thousand photos and one very special piece of my mom to carry with me. ❤️

BRUSSELS — 24hrs in the de facto capital of the European Union 🇪🇺

Brussels is hard to grasp, it’s an incoherent mix of architectural styles and urban planning. Tourists don’t seem to know what to do here other than eat frites in front of a fountain of a pissing baby. But the city has some intriguing moments of beauty, style, and sophistication even if you have to dig a little deeper than other European capitals.

Arrival: DB ICE from Cologne into Brussels Midi Station @deutschebahn

Recs:
Drinks at the Standard Hotel, Brussels @thestandardbrussels
Sunset at Perche Saint-Gilles
Stay: JAM Brussels Hotel @jam_hotels

Brunch: Chicago Cafe Brussels @chicago.brussels

To Do / See
Brussels Nord Station
Manneken Pis
Jardin Botanique De Bruxelles
Exploration of Dansaert/ Sainte Catherine

Departure:
SNCB Intercity Train to Antwerp
