🇻🇪 Community Together for Venezuela 🇻🇪

Our community has always come together when families need us, and today is no different.

Through the end of August, Jersey City Moms and Jam Cakery will be collecting emergency supplies for families in Venezuela affected by the recent earthquakes. Every donation, big or small, can provide comfort, hope, and essential support.

We’re collecting:
• First aid supplies

• Flashlights & batteries
• Tents
• Blankets
• Non-perishable food
• Personal hygiene products

Any donations we are unable to send will be distributed to local families in need here in our community as we usually do.

Thank you for showing up on the regular to support our fellow moms and parents and neighbors helping neighbors, no matter where they are.

It was a lovely evening last week at the Healing Garden at @peace_care_nj

This garden in the Hilltop neighborhood is made possible through nearly five years of dedicated volunteer work and ongoing community support. It was heartwarming to see so many seniors enjoying a natural space created with them in mind, filled with as many native plants as our budget allows. Thank you to all of the people who've donated through Hudson Gives. You have provided many plants and helped restore this garden into a vibrant respite for people, butterflies, birds and other living creatures.

Guests spent a beautiful evening dancing to the music of the @njsymphony and enjoying delicious food and desserts generously donated by local restaurants @cangianosjerseycity @cafe.peanut @brightsidetavern and @jamcakeryevents

@verdibello works hard to create fun events for the residents and always makes everyone feel welcome especially when it’s a party!

@reenarose has become my favorite photographer in Jersey City and captured the evening perfectly in these photos.

We are grateful to everyone who has helped REWILD the Healing Garden such a special place for people and wildlife.
