Okay! Before the FANDOM comes for me… I’m saying this as a Street Fighter fan; had such a fun time with the movie and it really felt like it respected the game! Can’t wait to watch it AGAIN with my Super family! 💥🦵🏽

I went to the Street Fighter premiere as Chun-Li and somehow the night turned into a whole side quest. 😂

First, M. Bison @fendnomenal dropped by Krafers’ Paradise, saw the live sketch session… and obviously decided to crash it. 😌

The artworks were SO GOOD, I was totally jealous! @james.ek and we got picked for Best Dressed, Fendi casually took FIRST PLACE as M. Bison, and all five of us walked away with exclusive merch. ☺️🔥still grateful for that little boy who shouted CHUN LI so confidently!

And yes… that gym bag contain hand wraps. So I guess there’s only one thing left to do: Will Callina Liang train me? 🫣

And thank you @uipsingapore @paramountpics.sg for this opportunity 😀

Back in my arcade days, my all-time favourite game was definitely Street Fighter! 🎮

Hadoken! Shoryuken! 🤜💥

My favourite characters were definitely Ryu and Chun-Li! 🥋
Who were your favourite characters? 😆

I had the chance to do a live drawing of my favourite characters at Krafers Paradise

It was so much fun getting to draw freely on such a big sheet of paper again after so long

A big thank you to @krafersparadise @james.ek for making this opportunity possible and to the amazing models @9kekz @charshabao_ who posed for two whole hours! ❤️🫶🏻

We are ready to FIGHT 🥊

We had so much fun hosting the local @streetfightermovie premiere for you all ❤️ Probably the silliest hosting I've done and I loved every moment of it 🤣 The movie is out in cinemas now!!

A huge shoutout to our stunt performers, my supercat team, @ccmcostume for the epic costumes and thank you @uipsingapore for supporting our crazy ideas 🤍

Breakfast, ball or me? 🥣⚽️🧕🏼

I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, because I suddenly didn’t feel like joining the @usk.sg / @cafesketcherssg ijioyou sketchwalk today, having looked forward to it all week… Haze? Hormones? 🤷🏻‍♀️

But glad I made it, coz not only did I get to paint, I also got to play ball with a cutie patootie who happened to be taking a morning walk outside @jimmymonkeycafe with his dad. If only he knew how much his little smile cheered me up 🥹 So, of course I had to immortalise him in today’s painting ❤️

Thank you, @james.ek , for today 🙏🏽

Painted with Daniel Smith and Holbein watercolours on 31 by 41 cm Baohong cold pressed cotton paper 🎨 75 mins pencils + 55 mins watercolours on location; didn’t watch the clock finishing this at home

Today’s @usk.sg #ijy x @cafesketcherssg sketch session at @jimmymonkeycafe !! Ordered the shakshuka and it defo passed the sketch test, still tasting good despite us eating it 2 hours later 😅 the cafe is located within a revamped colonial-era building, they’ve preserved the old 🚽 and toilet paper holder that British soldiers used to use (swip to pic4). Also nice exploring the Buona Vista area otw to the sketchsesh! Thanks @james.ek for hosting and bringing us here! And thank you @higgledypiggledyy for letting me use the first piece of your perfect-sized sketch pad!

Our first sketch in Incheon

I had imagined sketching
with the sea breeze on our faces
but thanks to @usk_neighbor @sketcher219
we found a comfortable spot
on the second floor of Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal

Looking out through the expansive windows
at the beautiful, open sea,
I finally felt
that we had truly arrived in Incheon 😌

Baedari Secondhand Bookstore Alley, Incheon

Spent some time wandering through Baedari Secondhand Book Alley, a historic stretch of bookshops in Incheon. The alley grew in the years following the Korean War and reached its peak in the 1970s, when more than 40 shops sold secondhand textbooks, reference books and other literature.

@usk_neighbor shared that the alley is now home to just five surviving bookstores, selling books on every topic you can imagine. Being a maximalist, I couldn’t resist attempting to draw all five bookstores lining the alley. @cha_book (차북카페) provided the perfect vantage point for my attempt. The café itself was one of my favourites from the trip, bringing together music, books, coffee and a cosy atmosphere.
