POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well… this weekend was the final race of the 2026 season, and although it was not a good day, this race does not show the amount of work, time, and passion that have been put into this year. I have learned so much over the last 5 months whether it be new tracks, setup knowledge, or driving conditions. There have been so many people that I have met and raced against that I would have never met without this sport.
In the practices we showed amazing pace, running the 3rd fastest lap with no draft, leaving me feeling fairly confident for qualifying. In qualifying, I was running very well until I made a small mistake, which caused me to let some drivers by, resulting in me getting pushed into the wall and bending my axle very badly.
Although I wrecked out of qualifying, I still managed to qualify 3rd for race 1. In race 1, I had an amazing start, but since we had to rebuild the whole rear end of the kart, we did not remember to check if the clutch was ok, causing it to slip very badly resulting in me having my 2nd DNF of the day. This meant I would be starting dead last in the final, 11th place on the grid. In the final race, I was able to move up 5 positions to 6th place, unfortunately losing the draft to the pack in front.
Once again I would like to thank everyone who has helped me this season. Thank you @rms_kart for helping me improve so much this season, and for giving me a flying engine every time I was out on track. One more thank you to all of my sponsors for making all of this possible: #aronschurkestatefarm #mcinnisautomotiveservice and #219realty

FIRST 206 RACE!

I attended round 5 of the KCA Karting challenge to compete in the ignite senior class for the first time with @rms_kart and we killed it!

It was a fully wet day, and we were mandated wet tires so we switched the kart setup over to a wet setup and in practice one absolutely crushed it. 5 tenths up on the open 206 class and first in class. We decided to save the wet tires for quali and switched to some older wet tires for practice two. In quali I was all alone with no one around for draft and qualified second. For the heat, I was sitting in second for most of the race just waiting for a chance, and p1 made a mistake and I capitalized and got into first, but then came up of traffic and I had to go low into the rubber and got washed wide losing the position, but kept second. For the final, I was leading most of the race until about lap 12 when the track started drying up and I over heated my tires which allowed for p2 to capitalize, passing me with 3 laps to go. And overall getting second in my first gas karting race. Sad that I gave it away but still proud!

Thank you so much to my mechanic Mike for giving me tons of tips and being super helpful! Couldn't do it with out him! And thank you @james_rcndz77 for all the support and providing the kart and an insane engine package! Congrats to @loganm_racing for a podium finish aswell!

Quincy Grand Prix 2026. @quincygrandprix

The park won this weekend. And it wasn’t close.

Day one ended in the biggest wreck of my career running in @margayracing ignite Senior 1 race. Walked away okay, got back in the kart the next day and fought. Day two, a brake rotor failure ended what was shaping up to be a completely different story.

The pace was there. I saw it. Quincy just didn’t let me use it. That’s the part that stings.

But I learned more this weekend than I have all season. About this track, about myself, about what it actually takes to compete at this level. Quincy is unforgiving and now I understand why.

I want to personally thank @gullyicx for letting get out here and do 2 karts, I wish I could have given them a better result and for sure next year.

I’ll be back.
