SACRED TRICKSTER poetic materials, hometown w/the whole family edit: Radio Hito & Film 2 in the SHED

Date: 16.10.26
Doors: 2030
Radio Hito: 2100
Film2: 2200
whimsy sounds from the big machine until 2330
Money: 12 target price, #notaflof
Location: SHED/ SCHUPPEN @mattenstrasse7476

RADIO HITO
Nguyễn Zen Mỹ is an Italo-Vietnamese pianist and composer based in Brussels.
Rooted in the search for meaning within language and poetry, her practice, through her intimate interpretations, questions broader collective—historical, social, political—narratives. Her latest album is a free adaptation of L’usage et les attributs du cœur, a book-poem by Claude Royet-Journoud, for soundfonts and keyboards accompanied by an Italian libretto.
Having been a steady fav on the mental load dream blunt rotation for years; we are super excited, to finally feed your depleted brazel ears this incredible magic!

FILM 2
At Film 2, text becomes material. Words abstract themselves in the process of repetition until they dissolve into pure sound, only to then concretise back into thoughts. Every sound, every word is turned and twisted, stretched and kneaded, the rhythm drives the whole thing forward and pulls everything else along with it.
For one brazelonian night only, propagating an ever important life approach through the albums title „ok sibs, lets scramble this up“, they are coming to help you through the cacophonia that is life on the blue marble and will lead your rage to realease on their careful wings of noised out connection.

ACCESS: overcome cobblestone courtyard to reach fully accessible venue. sounds are loud, free earplugs at the bar. no haze, no strobe. DM for specific questions regarding your partaking. AbVser-free zone: one word, and you shall be trusted and spend a safe(r) night, so let us know❣️
no -isms or hate (except the anti-imperial kind) welcome.

Artwork: @ramon_keimig, additional inspirational visualisations and pondering thoughts by @salesforcechild , @mrkdrvr (r.i.p. 🌹), anon internet warriors and the last excursion to a monster truck show. Enjoy.

𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗟 | 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗨𝗥𝗘 - 𝗡𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺 '𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗲' 25/09 !

On tient bon.

AGENDA | @das_kinn_ is to club music what Faust was to Chuck Berry (let’s say): a version warped a hundred times over, taken apart and reassembled devil-may-care - at once more self-aware and ironic, and, paradoxically, more primitive.

Final Descent Into Vinterjazz: Nina Garcia (FR)

Dense and volatile sound worlds moving between fragility and force

Since 2015, Nina Garcia has been researching and creating works centred on the electric guitar, positioned somewhere between improvisation and noise. Her setup is stripped to the absolute minimum: one guitar, one pedal and one amplifier, which she uses to sculpt sound and step into chaos to bring forth the unheard.

Garcia’s solo practice focuses on gesture and the investigation of the guitar itself: its resonances, its limits, its extensions, its impurities, its hidden possibilities. Working with or against the sound, holding it down or letting it unfold as wild, unrestrained resonance.
