#transformationtuesday - As you can see in the photo on the left, I was a cross country runner... in fact, I started running in 3rd grade and was a competitive runner all the way up through high school. As a result, I was a bean pole and was subject to a lot of bullying. 😕
-
👉🏻Well, a few things have changed since those Junior/Senior High School days of bullying. 1.) I accepted Jesus Christ as my SAVIOR at the age of 17 and began to find my identity in Him, not in what others said about me or did to me. 2.) I began to lift weights at the age of 20, simply because I was tired of being scrawny. 3.) At the age of 30 I made Jesus the LORD of my life. There is a big difference between Jesus being your Savior and Jesus being your Lord. When Jesus became my Savior, I reached my hand out to receive his gift of salvation (eternal life), and I began a relationship with Him in prayer, worship, and reading His Word. However, I kept the other hand of junk, hurt, pain, and sin behind my back and had not given it to Him. At 30 years old, Jesus became my LORD, as I had given Him the hurts of my past. I released to Him the sexual abuse that had happened to me at a young age. I released to Him the pain I had felt from being bullied as a child. I released my everything to Him and then He made me whole and He truly became the LORD of my life. Now I give Him ALL THE GLORY, HONOR, AND PRAISE for anything and everything that I have accomplished in life as He is my driving force, my Provider, my Healer, and my Peace. 😊🙏🏻

#throwbacktuesday to one of my favorite fitness magazines covers that came out in Winter 2010. 💪🏻 I was blessed to be on about 60 different magazine covers but I always really loved the smile and the feel of this cover. 😊🙏🏻
-
👉🏻Photographer 📸 @alexardenti shot me for this cover and one other cover too and it was always a pleasure working with him. We got a bunch of amazing photos from that shoot. I weighed in at 196 pounds for this shoot and it was actually the most I have ever weighed. I’ve been up to 195 pounds a couple of times since then, but have never quite got to 196 pounds again. I always wanted to break into the 200 pound club, but it just hasn’t quite happened yet. I’m not losing hope… 200+ pounds here I come…. but, I still want to be low body fat at the weight too. For those wondering, my height is 5’ 10.5”. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Timothy did a fantastic job as “Rooster/Ralph Mudge” in the Annie production. He told me, “Mom, I wish we could just do it a few more times.” He had so much fun performing! And I certainly had so much fun watching! Great job buddy!!!! Love you so much!!
