Newstead, get ready, this will be bigger, bolder, and funnier than anything you’ve ever seen before.

A true world-class stand-up comedy event is coming to @gashoundbar , hosted by the unstoppable Andrew Roper and headlined by the razor-sharp Marcus Thorpe, with an absolutely stacked lineup you do NOT want to miss.

Hosting the night is Andrew Roper, a master of crowd work and quick-fire wit who knows exactly how to turn a great night into an unforgettable one. With his effortless charm and electric stage presence, Andrew doesn’t just host a show, he sets the tone for something special from the very first laugh.

Flying in from Boston, USA, Jai Demeule brings international polish and punchlines that hit hard and fast. Jai’s sharp observations and high-energy delivery have earned laughs on both sides of the globe, and now Newstead gets a taste.

Also featuring is Chemark Rehder, known for clever storytelling and perfectly timed surprises that sneak up on you before the room erupts. Chemark’s relatable humour and natural stage presence make him a crowd favourite wherever he performs.

Joining the lineup is the brilliantly unpredictable James Matthews, whose smart writing and effortless delivery keep audiences hanging on every word. James has a knack for turning everyday moments into laugh-out-loud highlights, building momentum that carries through the entire room.

And headlining the night is Marcus Thorpe, a powerhouse performer with commanding presence and killer material to match. Marcus delivers big laughs with confidence and precision, bringing the kind of closing set people talk about long after the lights come up. This is headline comedy at its finest.

🎟 Early bird tickets are on sale NOW for just $25.

: “Don’t Talk”

I found myself in a new direction at heart
Now it don’t matter what your thinking of

CHORUS:
I really don’t care
What you got to say to me
Don’t say a thing
Don’t you even look at me

VERSE:
I found myself in a new direction at heart
Now it don’t matter what your thinking of
Sliding down you do your best
Gravitate now to the mess
Thinking silent treatment to piss me off

CHORUS:
I really don’t care
What you got to say to me
Don’t say a thing
Don’t you even look at me
Tell all your friends
They can go and fuck right off
Now I don’t understand
Why you gotta talk to me

BRIDGE:
BRING DOWN THE PAIN

VERSE:
I found myself in a new direction at heart
And it don’t matter what your thinking of

CHORUS X 2
