To the incredible cast of No Place Like Home: thank you for leaving it all on the stage. You breathed life into this vision every single night. And to Cape Town—thank you. We say it often, but we never take it for granted: you don't know what it took for people to be able to buy their tickets. Every seat filled is a sacrifice of time and hard-earned money, and your energy in that auditorium meant everything to us.

There’s a quiet magic in realizing a core memory is forming right before your eyes.

Usually, coming home for the EU summer break comes with a bit of boredom - everyone is at uni or work and I'm on holiday twiddling my thumbs. Instead, this break gave me something completely unexpected: a project that reminded me why I came home in the first place, created alongside people who embody the very beauty of home. Even if it was just for a short while, my heart is so full and I will never stop talking about this production.

To the main cast: Thank you for your vulnerability, your history, and your stories.

To the band: Thank you for laying the foundation and giving the story its pulse.

To the dancers: Thank you for breathing life into the stage—pure poetry in motion.

To Jody & Loukmaan: Thank you for carving out the space these stories deserve.

To my dream team: I’m taking a piece of you with me wherever I go next. 🤍

No Place Like Home ❤️

Far and wide, no matter where you are in the world, you know what your home means to your heart. We are so blessed to live in a country full of diversity, personality and very unique culture.

Being apart of this amazing production for the second time reminded us so much of how far we’ve come but more importantly, that we are truly going somewhere 💚

A huge THANK YOU to the legends @iamloukmaan and @jodythejester for giving us a place to call home and bring our very best! We appreciate you 🙏🏽

And to the incredible cast, all we can say is…. We can’t wait to do it again 😁🫶🏽

A special thank you to @dearend_za 🤍

They came on board with No Place Like Home when it was still just an idea. There was no finished product, no stage, no sold-out shows — just a vision. And they believed in it.

Thank you for believing in us, for believing in the arts and for helping us get No Place Like Home to the stage.

And because we actually believe in the people we partner with — if you’re looking for a venue for your next celebration, function or special occasion, go have a look at De Arend. It’s beautiful, cost-effective and the team is just lovely to work with.

We’re very grateful to have you on this journey with us. ❤️
