It's been a while since I've posted, but my watch rotation has been ongoing. Some timepieces have seen more action than others, including this standout pairing of the Fieldmaster from @canister_watches canisterwatches , which I've admired since its early concept stages. With the right strap or bracelet, it can fit any occasion while maintaining its rugged persona. Here, it's paired with a single-pass ribbed nylon strap from @cnswatchbands , featuring one of their solid signed buckles. These straps are available in various colors and offer an exceptional fit and finish, surpassing expectations given their affordable price. Huge thanks to Chris from @canister_watches For making this possible & @cnswatchbands for the awesome opportunity to try these great straps out again this summer 😎👌 #canisterwatches #cnswatchbands #fieldmaster #fieldwatch #watchcollector

I don’t know apathy. I don’t know indifference. I don’t know how to be callous. I also don’t know how to lead a movement. I don’t know how to inspire… …how to change minds …or hearts. But I do know how to speak. Not in some powerful speech or viral video, but in ways many can understand, by using the words of those that came before me. I do know how to be inspired by greats who led movements, and inspired the change of hearts and minds. It is exhausting and heartbreaking to live in a country where others go about their days telling you things are fine or gaslighting your frustration with the state of things as if it’s a creation of your own mind and not a reality they have not the will or fortitude to face. Forever, those that know better, should do better. A better, more beautiful world lives not just in our imagination, but in the horizon. It lives beyond the marches, the signs, the tears, and the fights for which we refuse to surrender. This beautiful world lives in the way we stand up for each other, and for our children, whose innocence lacks the recognition of the dark shadows that come for our civil liberties day after day. Yup, it feels corny even as I write it, but truth is truth even when we feel self-conscious about sharing it. Trust me, I want to post about sneakers and hip-hop (which gives me immense joy), but I’m not naive enough to think that only sharing these things will make the world or my country a better place. If you’ve read this far, kudos. And yes, this is sort of a marketing post for a Black History Month inspired hoodie that I think really reflects my mood and the moment we’re in. Langston Hughes was one of the first things I read or was read to me and has always been comforting. $10 from every hoodie sale will go to supporting the ACLU which has always fought for American’s civil liberties. Cop a hoodie, give a comment of support, like, or share. I’m just happy you’re here and you’ve read this far. 😅 #blackhistorymonth #langstonhughes #togetherwegrow

A few weeks ago the lovely @evelin_mozsly contacted me offering me a gift for my growing watch collection, the gift was one of the awesome watch winders available @mozslyofficial These are fully hand built, have multiple rotation settings for different movement requirements etc, come in a range of finishes & most importantly they have near silent motors.. 👌 I currently have one in use in my bedroom & have zero issues with noise, unlike many others Ive tried. Best of all I can now use the supplied power link cable to connect both winders together so I only need to use the one original AC power supply. So a huge thanks to @evelin_mozsly for this fantastic new addition to my collection its most appreciated & will be put to use straight away, the lucky watch thats gets this as its snug new home is the awesome Fieldmaster from @canister_watches The luxurious white leather finish of the winder & the stunning white dial of the #canisterfieldmaster are a match made in watch collectors heaven. Both built for purpose, both built to last. Needless to say, but as a collector Id highly recommend both! 😎👌 #watchwinder #watchcollector #mozsly #canisterwatches

It’s finally here… The Fieldmaster has landed! A true battlefield ready timepiece, thats made for any occasion. Ive been a fan of this watch from the early days, back when Chris the brand owner was consulting with the watch community on design, specs etc. He clearly wanted to produce a timepiece fit for purpose & that purpose was anything, anywhere.. by the looks of things & in my opinion he’s accomplished that & then some. This truly is a tough piece as proven in the many field situations & torture tests he’s put them through. This particular piece (Lot. 001 - 21) is one of his own pieces that’s definitely seen plenty of action (as seen @canister_watches ) & has taken it all in its stride. So now its time for a quieter, more relaxed life as part of my cherished collection, so you can expect to see lots more of this beautiful beast as it takes its place in my daily rotation, although I can already see its going to be hard to take off for another anytime soon 😎👌 #canisterwatches #fieldmaster #fieldwatch #fieldwatchfriday #militarywatch

Rarely do you get to examine the craftsmanship of the dial up close… but this one? Absolute art. A porcelain beauty from @atelierwenwatches that just pulls you in. Subtle, smooth, and ridiculously well-made. #atelierwen #watchfam #watchcollector #wristwatchcheck #watchphotography
