So it turns out my husband takes way better photos than me.

And never tells me about it.

⭐️🌻 June 🌻⭐️

At the beginning of the year I said I was going to post my highlights every month but I think I only managed the first 2 months of the year 🙈😆.

Anyway, June has been a super busy month for both work and play and here are some of the highlights!

1. A trip to London for work and I had a spare afternoon in the sunshine for a lovely walk around the city- here is St. Paul’s cathedral kn the sunshine.

2. My annual pilgrimage to @pastabrown to pick up a penne arrabbiata- this was my very favourite lunch spot when I worked in Covent Garden between 2006 and 2012! It still lives up to the hype 😋😋

3. Deliveroo for lunch on a shoot and we had a favourite discovery from last year @whitemencantjerk jerk chicken, rice and peas is seriously delicious- with a scotch bonnet and pineapple sauce 🌶️🍍🤤

4. Working with an absolutely brilliant cookbook team including @christerryphoto @tamsinweston @lizzieharrisfoodstylist @yasia.williams for @octopus_books_ ❤️

5. Enjoying the beautiful Salcombe sunshine with my family after a week in London @ntoverbecks - it was the first time we have visited and we will definitely be going back, it’s absolutely stunning (although the drive there is a little bit hairy 😂)

6. Attended the very warm @thegfw awards and caught up with some of my favourite food creators including @airfryeruk @thefullfreezer @beckyexcell @thebatchlady @dominiquewoolf @sarahwoodsauthor @juergenthebread

7. Had time to catch up with my brother @jamescinq for a coffee @portico.studios before getting the train back to Devon.

8. Squeezed in a gorgeous weekend away with my husband to celebrate 20 years since we first met- started with a sunny breakfast @crocadon.courtyard

9. We stayed in the most incredible, peaceful place @kuro_cabins and completely unplugged from daily life for a couple of days- enjoyed nature and a wood fired bathtub in the forest 🌲🌲🌲

10. Darren enjoying the peace and quiet in @kuro_cabins beautiful space.

11. A quick trip to Boscastle -such a gorgeous place and we had an awesome cooked breakfast from @boscastle_farmshop with the@most incredible views (I didn’t get a photo of that though!)
