Chloe & Jay 🤍

Jay and I worked out we've known each other for around 15 years, first through music and nightclubs, then briefly sharing a football pitch together for a while. I met Chloe a couple of years ago at Mikey's wedding at the Cube in Birmingham and from the moment I met them together it was obvious these two were something special. The love they have for the people around them is genuinely rare, you could feel it in every single person in that room and every person in that room clearly felt it right back.

I arrived a little later than usual to find Jay and the groomsmen already sorted and ready, which meant more time where it mattered most to them: the evening, the dancing, the partying and a few well earned cigars 😂 The ceremony was emotional but nothing quite prepared me for the speeches. Jay's two best men, Jay himself and then Chloe rounding things off. To say there were a few tears shed would be a significant understatement. I don't think I've ever seen quite as many tears at a wedding and it was a really beautiful thing to be slap bang in the middle of.

Chloe walked down the aisle to City & Colour and their first dance was Alexisonfire's San Soleil, which told you everything about who they are and what they mean to each other. The BBQ and evening pizza from @pro_roast_events was incredible, big portions, delicious food and relaxed dining, couldn't recommend them more highly. The staff at @shackrevolution were brilliant throughout and I'm back there later this month with zero doubt it'll be much of the same.

I'm genuinely hoping I carry on seeing Chloe and Jay because I felt so welcome as part of their day. They gave me so much free rein and I think the photos show exactly what that trust makes possible. Creativity, relaxed portraits and an added sprinkle of chaos thrown in for good measure 😂 Sneak peeks within 24 hours and the full gallery is on its way.
