Today we shout out one of our team captains, Outside Hitter, #7, James Drgon.

James has been a dedicated member of the Northport volleyball program and proudly serves as captain of the team. His volleyball journey began in middle school and continued through JV, Varsity, and the Academy travel team, where he has grown into a strong leader both on and off the court. Outside of volleyball, James has a passion for motorsports and even had the opportunity to drive on Lime Rock Racetrack in Connecticut with a driving instructor. He works in town at Jones, runs his own car-washing business, and enjoys working on and fixing the car he bought for himself. James’ determination, independence, and leadership are qualities that will serve him well as he heads off to college in the South, where he plans to study business and finance. We are proud of everything James has accomplished and wish him continued success in this exciting next chapter!
