I am officially a Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate!

Oh NGU, when I stepped on campus in 2018 for a women’s golf recruiting visit, I knew I was home.

This place has shaped me into who I am today, and I still get emotional thinking about it. From competing on the women’s golf team, serving on student council, and being involved in FCA during my undergraduate years, to now working in the admissions office for the past two and a half years. Every season has played a meaningful role in my journey.

NGU is a place where Christ is interwoven into every aspect of campus culture. He is our foundation, and our core values are grounded in truth, His truth.

I absolutely love sharing my NGU story with prospective families, how I knew this university was home and how the relational environment has made a lasting difference in my life. I visited many other schools before choosing NGU, but I chose NGU because of its Christ centered community, sense of togetherness, relational rather than transactional experience, and strong support system.

From my very first interaction with Andy Ray at my high school’s college fair, to running into one of the VPs during my recruiting visit, to Coach Robbie Edwards showing me around campus for the first time, everyone made me feel seen. I was not just a number. I was a person they genuinely cared about and took the time to know for who I am. The list of people who have invested in me goes on, and this story does not end here.

Now, I have an MBA to add to that story. After many late nights writing papers, reading thousands of textbook pages, completing assignments in between college fairs, staying up until 3:00 a.m., then heading to work the next morning, it was all worth it. None of this would have been possible without the support of my family, friends, coworkers, and community at NGU.

I look forward to the growth and leadership opportunities ahead while putting the skills learned during my MBA into action. Additionally, I am excited to continue sharing my NGU story with others. This is only a small snippet of my story, but I would love to share the rest with you someday.

I vow to love you in both sickness and health

These are not all that I have to promise. For the future we cannot prepare for, I vow to always find a way to find the shine in your eyes and to love you to the extent that this physical and mental body I have been gifted with can
