Il Milanese in Chicago is everything you actually miss about Italy. 🍷

Osso Buco, Fried Zucchini Flowers, Carbonara, Bone Marrow, Bolognese!!!!!

The focaccia was perfection. The pastas were precise and al dente, exactly what you want from an Italian kitchen.

The Veal Milanese. Perfectly pounded, golden and crispy. A classic.

Greco di Tufo was the move. A white from Campania that’s mineral, structured, and completely underrated. If you haven’t explored southern Italian whites, this is your sign.

Il Milanese is doing it right. Already planning the return visit.

A new iteration of the “Where My Background Singers” Singers plus cutie coworker club plus squirrel cake plus a door open on a train mid-track plus jokes plus custom car horns plus hugs plus babes I didn’t even get to capture in pictures because I was living in the moment like a nerd. Thank you again CHI.
