POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Monday was our 7-year anniversary.

Today I turned 35.

So naturally, we celebrated the only reasonable way possible: dinner with my wife, too much food, and a reminder that there is actually a life outside of bodybuilding.

Bodybuilding has a way of convincing you that you need to be hardcore 24/7.

Wake up at 4 a.m.
Eat the same meals.
Never miss training.
Never relax.
Never deviate.
Drink raw eggs out of a cup like you’re auditioning for Rocky VII.

And discipline matters. A lot.

But I’m starting to realize balance matters too.

This sport already takes up so much of your life that if you’re not careful, it can slowly become your entire life.

There’s a difference between being passionate and becoming completely consumed by it.

If every dinner out feels like failure, every missed workout feels like a crisis, and every decision revolves around bodybuilding, eventually something is going to give.

Motivation fades. Discipline starts slipping. You burn out.

And then the thing you loved starts feeling like something you have to survive.

So no, going out for dinner once in a while isn’t going to ruin your physique.

But never allowing yourself to enjoy anything outside of bodybuilding might ruin a lot more.

I’m still learning that.

35 years old, 7 years married, still chasing bigger goals…

just trying to remember to enjoy the life I’m building along the way.

TURN IT UP & LET’S GOOOOO 🔥😮‍💨💪

Good music. Big energy. Heavy work. And a whole lot of FUN while we get better. 😏

You don’t have to hate the process to get results — move your body, challenge yourself, laugh a little, sweat A LOT, and keep showing up. ⚡️

Trainer ✔️
Athlete ✔️
My own biggest competition ✔️

We’re not just working out… we’re building STRONGER, LOUDER, MORE CONFIDENT versions of ourselves. 🗣️🔥

A lot of people only see the tan, the lights, and the stage.

They don’t see the months of saying no.
The meals that stopped being enjoyable.
The cardio when I didn’t want to move.
The training sessions where everything hurt and somehow still had to get done.

These aren’t the official stage shots, but they’re some of my favorites because they remind me of everything it took to get here.

I’m incredibly proud of the package my coach and I were able to bring. Every adjustment, every check-in, every decision added up to this.

More than anything, I’m grateful for my wife. Contest prep has a way of turning life into controlled chaos. There were days it felt like we were living in the middle of hell, and she never stopped supporting me through it. I couldn’t have done this alone.

Winning my class was an amazing feeling, but what I’m most proud of is knowing we emptied the tank. We showed up with a physique that represented months of discipline, sacrifice, and trust in the process.

Now it’s time to recover… and maybe remember what it feels like to eat without weighing every bite.

Thank you to everyone who followed along and supported this journey. This is just the beginning.

Prejudging is done.

Months of prep came down to a few minutes under the lights this morning.

No matter what happens tonight, I’m proud of the package I brought. Every meal, every cardio session, every workout, every day I wanted to quit but didn’t—it all led to this stage.

Now it’s time to rest, eat, make a few adjustments, and come back for finals.

One more round.

Let’s finish what we started.

Sometimes she’s my own personal photographer, other times she’s my posing coach, masseuse, therapist, assistant, but most of all she’s my wife and she does a lot of things that I am grateful for ……. #bodybuilding #couple #fitness #gym
