Redefining Latino Stereotypes: Episode 1

A year ago @jorgepeniche and I connected and set the goal to get him in the best shape of his life.

Like most Latinos he was putting the hustle before his health but he knew he would eventually pay the price.

A year later we’re down 30 pounds and 12 percent body fat but were just getting started 🏁

Discipline doesn’t just come from a desire to do what is right and what is good for ourselves and others. Sometimes we want to do it, but we just can’t seem to find the energy. Discipline comes from good practice, good habits, and a drive towards a goal that will keep us on the right path even when we don’t feel like doing the things we need to do. It comes from routine, focus, and prioritizing. 🧠 💯 🏆

Here’s a before & after of our gym. Prvl was built from the ground up. We started at the park, upgraded to. 1,200 sq ft studio, and now a 5000 sq ft facility in the span of 3 years. It’s an amazing feeling witnessing a dream become a reality.. When vour passion and purpose align with your work ethic, what seems impossible becomes certain 🥲🖤
