IN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, an intimate fragrance launch experience curated and hosted by me, Kimberly Griffin, founder of House of Kimberly. From developing the concept and interactive fragrance passports to planning the guest experience, fragrance education, signature cocktails , servers, and hospitality, I thoughtfully curated each element to bring fragrance lovers and fragrance brands together in a meaningful way. From the first spray to the final toast, this is what it looked like when my vision became a complete House of Kimberly experience. “…I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬ ‭ESV‬‬ I had the amazing opportunity to attend Reformation Convocation where I was able to see my pastor @jjhairston be elevated to Overseer. While there, God met me. Y’all I share a lot about where I am in life but no one knew just how dark of a place I was in. So dark that life felt a little pointless. If I’m honest this convocation was my last ditch effort in trying to find meaning to where I was in life. “If God doesn’t meet me this time, I’m done”. Turn to your neighbor and say “But God”! Apostle Clack called those up who were struggling with finding purpose in living and I fought going up but when I did, God met me there. My brother @jamesiv____ (Thank you bro!) met me and began speaking life back into me. I’ll never forget how you poured into me dawg✊🏽. And then apostle Clack spoke a lot into me that only the Holy Ghost himself knew however, I’ll share one thing he said to me… “Stand up! Get your confidence back!” So when I read the train of his robe filled the temple, my temple has truly been refilled. I got the answer and the clarity that I needed from God to keep going, to keep living, and to keep seeking Him for the rest of my life. Life may be tough right now for some but don’t let that steal what God has said to you and about you! STAND UP! GET. YOUR. CONFIDENCE. BACK! 📸: @iamdariat

*Please share!🙏🏾 "Lust." An uncontrolled sexual appetite for a man is one of the most common downfalls of marriages and relationships. A lot of us were introduced to, or found p*rnagraphy at a young age, developed urges we were not mature enough to handle, and habits that hinder us well into adulthood. As someone who has fought that battle, and has to continue to keep all of those crucified, I felt the need to create this short visual, as a testimony that, its not only you bro. It's not only you sis. You are not alone. And by the power and grace of God, we can repent, renew our minds, and be self controlled, because at the end of it all, were only hurting ourselves. You're only one "no" away from breaking your chains. You are not s slave to sexual sin and temptation. You are kings and queens in the sight of the Father, and He wants the best for you. . Psalm 46:1 KJV [1] God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. . Galatians 5:16 KJV [16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. . 1 Corinthians 6:20 KJV [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. . DESTROY THIS TEMPLE is a creative endeavor that uses streetwear, sneaker culture, and artistic visual represention and direction to convey the message, "Every day, we Die to Self." The truth about following God, is that isn't easy. We have to kill our pride, our lusts, our enviousness, and everything else God hates, to truly see His glory in our lives. The name of the brand DESTROY THIS TEMPLE, is quoted in John 2:19, where Jesus tells this to the Jews after turning over tables, angered by the desecration of the temple that was meant for worship. Jesus is asked, what gives Him the right to do all of that? "Destroy This Temple, and I will raise it again in 3 days." Of course unbeknownst to them, they thought he meant the building, when really He was speaking of His own resurrection. The phrase can have so many powerful meanings.
