The rain in Bahrain, falls mainly in Malaysia

5ish hours on air for the eventual race day of what was a tremendous event for the Bahrain Grand Prix, hosted this year at storied Sepang.

Weather + Tyres + Layout + some software chaos make this place a bit mad, there’s no other word for it. And when it’s all up in the air, the battle hardened legends of the sport so often step forward as they did this weekend.

Hamilton, Alonso, and Verstappen all with sensational drives through the steamy afternoon.

As for me, well… the set of socks I used for the gridwalk are going in the bin for a start! An immense experience to come here and participate in a unique event with our tremendous team, if you think I look drenched on the grid you should have seen @jamesphilms

But also can’t wait to be back in Bahrain 🇧🇭 next year for an ever hospitable and exciting race.

It’s not a castle… 🏰

Heavy duty weekend trackside with a BUMPER F2 schedule and F1TV duties.

What a pleasure to spend so much time with legends @96f1champ and @jpmonty2 with their depth of insight. And as ever our tremendous team. Thanks for the pics @lilleyruth

Sharing a gridwalk with my buddy @hinchtown was a real highlight. Also a pleasure to chalk one up for the Kings Lynn massive with @georgerussell63 driving stunningly all weekend.

See you in Malaysia!

‘It’s Raidillon actually’

The expected result in Spa with @kimi.antonelli doing the business to take victory in a surprisingly close grand prix.

Highlights were midfield battling from Alpine and RB along with a tremendous drive from @isackhadjar from the back to P6.

Thanks as ever to our brilliant team at base and at Spa!

I’m behind the wheel myself next week so I’ll see you all in Zandvoort!

The best part of the job ❤️

This has been a tough year behind the scenes and I’m very thankful for the amazing people on the ground who have been a little support system, sometimes without even realising - you guys are special 🫶🏽

(Too many people to tag 🥲)

What a privilege to be plugged in to this amazing sport. Whether inches from the cars as they lay down the laps, or connected to the matrix of data that shows me the workings of the world’s most complex racing machines.

The team at #F1TV make it extra special though, the combo of experience, mixed with that unassuming excellence that only comes with mastery of their various roles and arts.

It’s been a pleasure to talk F1 with you. See you next season.

F1, Thursday. Las Vegas notes:

I’m so happy.
FP1 and FP2, and F1 Academy - hits in the paddock and from pit lane.
Incredible team surrounding me and across the venue. Everyone’s nailing it.
Gosh dang, it’s cold. I’m wearing a jacket Friday and Saturday night.
Did I mention I’m so happy?
Friday is starting with rain, bundle up.
Don’t split Max and Kimi up if you see them.
Wear more comfortable shoes.

FP3 and qualy today. Let’s freakin go!

Brasil 🇧🇷💛

Good to be back at track, even better to be back in my favourite country, with the best team. And of course, Interlagos delivered another weekend of incredible racing, never disappoints 🤌🏽

On to the final three!
