Somewhere between the buildings, the traffic, and the noise, running creates a little space of its own. #DOXARUN

#unframed35project // FORT HEART TOP MENTION // Our idea for this little project + exhibition was to look deeper into the art form of 35mm film photography and hearing why the photographer was drawn to capture that moment. . We loved how James captured this moment, and love seeing 35mm being able to work in many different environments. . . James will receive a prize pack from us. 😄 . Unframed 35 Project // James Whiting, Australia // shot in Brixton, London // Camera Olympus Stylus Epic // . . “A friend and I went to see Frank Ocean while we were in London in 2013 right after he’d released channel ORANGE. It was way before by love for Frank had really come into full swing but it still a special night. I had a gut feeling that if I could learn the lighting patterns to his performance I could essentially use the pops of light as a flash if I timed it correctly. I shot two entire rolls and ended up with just two images that are actually readable. Absolutely worth it though.” . . . . . #unframed35project #35mm #film #35mmfilm #filmproject #photography #shootfilm #shootfilmstaybroke #ishootfilm #analogphotography #analog #analogfilm #shootanalog #filmisnotdead #filmphotography #fortheart #fortheartartists #forthefilm #fortheartcommunity #fortheartco #filmlife #fortheartproduct #filmneverdie #filmneverdies
