Naranja Electro Funk - The True funk Soldier's 🍊

This year, my paintings left my studio three times to be exhibited — and I don’t take that lightly.

I want to start with a sincere thank you to @letstalkartsxm , @motorworld_sxm , and @shimasxm for supporting my work and opening their spaces to my Women & Nature series. Being invited to exhibit parts of a series that isn’t even fully completed yet — and to share not only the work, but also the process and thought behind it — has been one of the biggest highlights of my year.

These opportunities allowed me to receive feedback while the series is still unfolding, which has been incredibly valuable as I continue to develop my personal work and introduce myself as an artist here on Saint Martin. That kind of exchange — between artist, space, and community — is something I deeply value.

A special thank you to @onelove_nomi from Let’s Talk Art for believing in my work, inviting me into these opportunities, and sharing my name again and again. Thank you to Lynna George for inviting me to a new cultural event and giving me the opportunity to introduce myself to a new market. And thank you to @anni2411 and @jamfunk for your constant support, encouragement, and for giving my work a longer home in your café as a first glimpse into what’s coming.

I’m incredibly grateful for the connections made, the conversations with other artists, and the cultural exchange that happened through all of these moments. To feel this welcomed with my first personal series means more than I can put into words.

I’m already looking ahead — and very much looking forward — to sharing the full Women & Nature series with Saint Martin in February and March.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

Love me a long evening beach stroll to close out the work week. Soaking in every little detail — tiny shells, the sound of the waves, a rainbow, those last golden rays… Aaand the kiddos being happy 🐾🫶🏼
