Can't believe I am saying bye to this Cross Country team.🥹 Makes me so upset but happy I got to make new friends with all of these younglings.

The first XC team in Wakefield was made up by William, Baldwin, Jamie, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Angie, and I. Joining XC was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. The amount of love and happiness that we gave and received as a team was incredible. I have never cared for a group of people as much as I do right now. Colt, Gio, Anthony, Deigo, Kevin, Arianna, Nanci, Naomi, and Jazmynn joined and I hope the OG team made them love this sport. They are the funniest people I have ever met and I am so beyond proud of how well they have been running. My favorite part was being able to pick on Colt and Kevin during Friday games. My least favorite part was getting picked on by Kevin and his sidekick Gio. I can't thank this team enough for making XC enjoyable during long runs and workouts. I know I only got to be in XC for 2 years, but these 2 years with you guys are worth more than 4. Lastly, XC helped me get incredibly close with these silly girls. Jamie, Angie, and Jennifer are the same 3 girls I hangout with in and out of practice. It is bittersweet to say bye to a sport that I love so much but at least we made 2 years worth of memories with this team. Don't miss us seniors too much!🩷

I am beyond grateful for Allison Holcomb being able to coach Cross Country the 2 years I was involved. She has been an amazing role model and believed in each and everyone of us when we did not believe in ourselves. Not only was she a great coach but an amazing big sister. The amount of secrets allie knows is kind of scary, but I can't keep my mouth shut so she'll know more eventually. I love how close we have gotten over a 1.5 years and wouldn't trade her for the world.🥹

Having Logan McDouble assist coach my second year of Cross Country was the best thing I could've ever asked for. The amount of support and humor he provided was and is always appreciated. I am going to miss gaslighting and arguing with him every chance I got. I can't believe we only got to share a coach-at
