The 2nd of 2 looks done for the Dallas Stars media day is the popular spotlight look. I’ve always been hesitant to photograph the Stars on a green background as to avoid it looking like a green screen, but I’m really happy with how it came out with this look.

1 of 2 looks I did for this years media day. - Basically I took a section of the stars logo and had it cut out of a 4x8’ sheet of mdf board, painted it black and shot green light through it. For the key light I used a gridded 3’ octa to limit spill onto the background. I had an assistant hold a bounce card under to fill in their faces a bit more.
