Happy, happy 2️⃣7️⃣th birthday to my JK… the queen of karaoke 🎤, the funniest person I know 😆, the one who can “name that tune” in one or two notes 🎶 , the knower of the most random history facts, and the one whose collections of albums, graphic tees, and cowgirl boots are outta hand🤪! BUT, your best gift of all is that underneath it all, you have the BIGGEST heart🥰!! I LOVE YOU SO SUPER MUCH, and I thank Jesus everyday for the gift that is YOU!! 💗💗💗

some people are just born to be everybody’s favorite person in the room. and then there’s jamie kay grubb, who was born to be the entire damn party. 🪩😂🩷

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY to my first college best friend, original partner in crime, good time girl, personal comedian, and one of my favorite humans.

nobody makes me laugh quite like you. the can’t-breathe, stomach-hurts, PLEASE STOP TALKING before i pass away kind of laughing. 😭

you could make a grocery run the best night of our lives. give you a microphone, dolly parton, and a busch light, and everybody’s having the time of their life. a one-woman entertainment committee, and i wouldn’t change a thing.

but you were also there at the beginning of one of the biggest chapters of my life. before uga felt like home, before we found our people, there was you. the girl who made a big, unfamiliar world feel smaller and so much more fun.

i’ll forever thank accelerated elementary spanish for giving me someone i’d love for the rest of my life. we went from two girls trying to pass a class in athens to a friendship that’s carried us through growing up, distance, new chapters, hard seasons, and every version of ourselves in between. somehow, every version has felt like home. that classroom gave me a lifelong best friend.

because my favorite thing about you isn’t just how much fun you are....it’s who you are when the music stops and life gets less funny.

you’re the friend who shows up, listens, remembers the little things, and sits with me through the hard stuff. the one who can make me laugh when i didn’t think i had it in me. i hope you know what that means to me.

no matter how much life changes, i hope we’re still 80, carrying on like absolute fools, laughing at things nobody else finds funny, and acting like we don’t have a lick of sense. a lifetime of being your best friend still doesn’t feel long enough.

i love you more than you’ll ever know, jamie kay grubb!!! the world is louder, funnier, and better because you’re in it.

now somebody get this woman a microphone and a cold busch light. it’s her birthday, and the rest of us are lucky to be invited. 🍻

ily always & forever, baby.
