Trying to put into words how much Scott Weiland means to us is no easy task. The music he created with Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver set us on a path we’ve followed religiously ever since. He was the wildcard, the frontman everyone wanted to be, and the unmistakable voice of a generation. Gorilla Riot would sound very different without his influence there’s no doubt about that.

Rest easy Scott. Hard to believe it’s been 10 years.
Thank you for the music and make sure you play it loud today in his memory.

Scott Weiland was born on this day, October 27th, 1967. He would have been 58.

His widow @jamievesperweiland cleared the rumors surrounding his death with us in an emotional interview last year.

I’ve been an artist for many years, and my fiancee @jamievesperweiland has encouraged me to promote and sell. There seems to be a “lack” of watch art, and I have created a character named Jean-Claud who was obsessed with time.
