Hey everyone my 4 week autobiographical screenwriting master class is full but I have some space left in my mini 2 week course. DM me for details! These stills are from my most autobiographical film Things Behind The Sun with the most incredible cast @kimdickens @gabriel_mann @doncheadle @ericstoltzofficial @patsykensit @rosannaarquette @alisonfolland @ariaalpertadjani @brittanyreneefinamore @thejoshualeonard @xonneliak @kadulennox @jadelain and deeply missed Elizabeth Pena. Score by @sonicyouth_official original songs by written by @annawaronker and Charlotte Caffey @jmascis @jeffmcdonaldofficial @stevenmcdonald, the latter 3 are also in the film as members of Kim’s band. It was a life changing experience to go back to the literal scene of a crime and film there. It might be the closest you can get to autobiographical noir? Don Cheadle was nominated for an Emmy for his incredible performance and Kim was nominated for a Spirit Award for Best Actress for her gorgeous raw brave work, and Don and the film and myself got Spirt Award noms too. The film won a Peabody. It’s now available to watch on Prime.

Proud to share that Rob Peace, where I play teenage Rob, is now on @netflix This project was a masterclass, with a team that made every moment unforgettable. It’s a core memory for me, and I’m so grateful to be part of telling this story, based on the powerful biography “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace” by Jeff Hobbs. Big things on the horizon. 🖤🖤

@catalinafilm will be hosting the world premiere of EVERYTHING IS FINE this Thursday at 230pm :) !! !!!

Writing the script was a joy, making it with friends was a pleasure & sharing it with strangers will be priceless. Though it's $10 a ticket. And the ferry will cost you 90. But the bottomless margarita is on me. Time for an island slumber party? Let's do it, baby.
