Wow that went by fast…
East Lincoln Carolina Classic Grand Champion
Porter Ridge Pirate Cove Classic Grand Champion

I am so thankful for the Spirit of Cox Mill Marching Band and words cannot explain the impact that this program has made on me. Stepping into SOCM as a junior, I didn’t know if I belonged but now there’s no doubt in my mind that I feel at home.

To my fellow seniors: I didn’t start the journey with you all but I finished it with you all. I am forever grateful for all the memories we’ve created and I know you all will be great in the future.

To all PATO members: Never change, don’t stop being stupid. All of you are like brothers to me and I’m sorry that I won’t be there to share more laughs with you guys next year. I may be UNC now or whatever you all say these days, but I can’t wait to watch y’all be great in the future.

To staff: Thank you for your unwavering support and patience with me as well as your commitment. Because of your dedication, we were able to make history.

To SOCM: I have loved watching all of you grow and improve throughout the season. I can’t wait to see what you all will accomplish in the future and I believe that this year was just the start to SOCM’s greatness in the coming years. Keep up the hard work, I’m proud of each and every one of you.

we had an incredible weekend in asheville and at the western carolina university tournament of champions!

the awards we received included

in class 3A preliminary competition:
1st place percussion
1st place color guard
1st place overall

in finals we placed 4th overall, regardless of class

our hard work really paid off this week and we are all incredibly proud of our performance. we finish our comp season this saturday with two competitions! one of them being the pride of robinson invitational as well as the porter ridge pirate cove classic.

also thank you so much to smoky mountain high school for hosting us the morning of the comp so we could rehearse!

I wasn't going to do a post for this season or my time with Music City in general but I can't stop thinking about it. It's hard to put into words just what this activity is to me because it's so unlike any other thing i've ever experienced. It's done so much for me I can't ever imagine who i'd be without it. All the people i've met all the experiences i've had have shaped me so much they'll be a part of me forever. All the people i've met in my time marching, genuinely, I love you. The staff who inspired me to try and continue their art for another generation. The volunteers who have willingly given their time to make this experience possible for everyone. The marching members with whom i've shared the most authentic and vulnerable connections I can imagine. I hope this activity continues and improves so more people get to experience the same thing I did.

Spring training ✅️ 2025 DCI Tour 🚎⭕️
Hardest thing I've ever done but it has been so worth it so far! I'm loving every second of it (even when I'm hating it) There is nowhere else I would rather be than Music City 🌟🌟🌟🕰 RTN
